Corner C is a part of Corner type family. This subfamily is designed with rounded shapes in the corners. The concept of the typeface Corner is based on variation of corner shapes in font characters, from what is also its name derived. The basis is a bitmap modular principle, to which by simple addition of “the missing pixels” in corners of the characters ( Corner A ) to the shape of diagonal ( Corner B ), curvature (Corner C), or inversion curvature ( Corner D ), three more font variations are created. The basic monolinear bitmap weight is supplemented by two more extreme thicknesses – hairline and fat weight. The character set supports the complete Latin, while the x-height of lowercase is drawn at the same height as in the uppercase characters. Corner is a strong display typeface, which allows you to easily experiment and to combine it with its mutual font variations.

Marit Otto about C-Nation: The building typeface. Although the 70ties were very liberating and progressive, still girls played mainly with dolls and sweet things and boys with all kinds of challenging stuff. They did all sorts of basic scientific experiments in mini labs and of course built cool things with Meccano building sets. As a girl I was perfectly happy with the toys I had access to. But at the same time I was very curious about all the adventure toys and discoveries my brother did. It also made me wonder why the grown up people thought that our world could be separated so easily by separating our toys in pink and blue sections. At this day of age Meccano is probably hopelessly old fashioned and far to manual. Children of today are fed by fast images and cool animations on screen, they learn, play, communicate and relax in the same space, the digital space. The special feature of Meccano was that even though it was very basic there was the promise you could create anything. It might even contribute to a logical mind. The typeface I designed refers to the Meccano feel. It is a creative typeface. A bit masculine and bold looking perhaps but after the first impression a subtle and refined female touch is revealed. It has links to architecture and associations with metal constructions like ‘The Eiffel Tower’ and (old railway) bridges. I am convinced that we all think of that as very charming man-made objects.

Slightly erratic straight up brush tip handwriting script that was written with an ‘intoxicated’ hand, with a lot of very unique characters as a result. The overall font looks wild yet very readable. It includes all eastern European, Baltic, Scandinavian and Turkish characters.

ION C is a part of the ION superfamily, which consists of 3 families: condensed (ION A), normal (ION B) and wide (ION C), each having a compelling range of 10 weights. Styles Thin to Black have 436 glyphs supporting more than 70 Latin-based languages and the three heaviest weights, named U1, U2 and U3 have 94 basic glyphs. ION glyphs are based on the classic 7-segment display, but for readability and aesthetic reasons, some alphabetic characters don't follow this matrix strictly. It’s time for Primal. It’s time to Rock! Primal is a polygonal typeface created with primeval times in mind. All forms have been created using few lines, angles and points. This typeface will enable you to create type that will almost scream off the page. Raaawwhrrr! Very useful for concert posters, techno parties or caveman signs. Whichever you prefer! Primal contains uppercase, smallcaps and underscored lowercase letters. By turning on standard ligatures the underscored letters will automatically connect, resulting in one single underscored line. Designed with help and inspiration from legendary tattoo artist Dustin Horan. This beautiful time saver was designed specifically for skin application. Short words and initials can instantly be turned into seamless tribal style tattoos. Each glyph links with the next allowing letters to flow endlessly around limbs and in circles. Respecting the rhythm and geometry principles laid forth by American pioneering tribal artist Leo Zulueta, Scribal makes flowing text shapes that disguise themselves as design. When mirrored back to back and rotated vertically, Scribal becomes well-crafted tribal pattern. Typeface wise, Scribal breaks the mold. While a script font, Scribal was designed to be written in all capitals. Each capital is a mono-spaced glyph, providing even spacing. The shape influences are also vast, ranging from scripts, to blackletters, to romans. Making Scribal a very "Americanized" font, reflective of this "Americanized" style of Tribal Tattooing.

Lotter blackletter with Drop caps One fine day I found a vintage book, it called “A treatise by the Dominican friar-writer Marcus von Weida on the Brotherhood of the Holy Rosary”. It was printed in 1515 by Melchior Lotter in Leipzig. The text was illustrated by hand-colored engravings on religious and liturgical themes and beautiful initials I like. Lotter was the last name of a family of German printers, intimately connected with the Reformation. An innovation by the elder Lotter was his use of Roman types for Latin, reserving the Gothic types for German. I'm happy to present to you my new font family. Lotter font family has Drop cap and Regular styles. It's all you need to precisely imitate medieval style text. Use Drop cap style as a decorative element at the beginning of a paragraph or section, other part of the paragraph should be in Regular style.
